High Security Keys & Knowing the Difference
High security locks are designed to prevent forced entry or unauthorized entry by using their special components to resist lock picking. The keys provided with many high security locks look distinctively different in comparison. For example, the internal cut key, also known as a laser cut key, has the groove cut towards and in the centre of the blade. This same cut is usually made identically on the other side of the key to ensure entry whichever way the key is inserted.
Another interesting styled key is the Magnetic key. This key has little small circle magnets that are designed to be utilized with locking and unlocking the lock. Did you know that these two styles of locks can even be combined? It creates a very intricate styled key that is meant to secure your door extremely well.
