Hardware Grades made easier to Understand
Why should we know the difference between the different grades of hardware? Knowing the grading system used for hardware is very important if your looking to either save money or to have the ability to understand heavier duty items by their grade number. All hardware will fall into one of the following grades:
-Grade 1: Highest Durability
-Grade 2: Medium Durability
-Grade 3: Lowest Durability
Let’s get into a deeper understanding as to why the durability of hardware is extremely important–especially for businesses. Generally speaking, most residential units are perfectly okay with the price points and durability of the grade 3 hardware. However, companies with frequent usage of the hardware will have a different view and needs to fulfill their entry and exit system. Many companies are perfectly content with the 2nd Grade of hardware since their isn’t a constant flow of traffic coming in and out of their establishment. On the other hand, if the company’s has people entering and exiting hundreds of times in a day–they definitely will need grade 1 hardware to suit their needs. Should a company with high volume decide to go with a lower graded hardware, it will result with frequent changing of the hardware as it is not suited to withstand as much traffic as they particularly have at their site.
